The good mongooses have a different logo on the head tube.
i have an 07 orange teocali.. wish mine had fox shocks and the cobra 900 R. im stuck with epicon wich are stil good.

I actually like that mongoose does all sorts of bikes. Each one buys what attends better to your purpose
some mountain bikes at wal-mart are good the one i like is 300$ disc brakes and is pretty well built …so idk their are some good mongoose and some crappy ones

they have a pretty impressive high-end line.
You can find some Mongoose bikes at the big box stores, but back in the day Mongoose made top of the line race bikes. Glad to know they still do.

I have had a 2009 Teocali Super for one week going from a cannondale rush 5 and let me tell yall even if I had the same drivetrain on both the cannondale and teocali the teocali would no doubt out sprint the cannondale thanks to freedrive. The teocali is a very good choice for mtbing.

one of ma m8s has got an otero 08 and he says that its fairly good but its fairly weighty. its good for entry leval cross contry and lighter stuff. no jumps n stuff, he went of a small double n stacked on the landing, bust the fork.lol
