Considering an electric bike, or an electric bike wheel for my beach cruiser, any suggestions?

I live about 2 miles from work, and have a bike path directly to the office. I want to get an electric bike or convert my beach cruiser to an electric bike. Thoughts on this? Suggestions?

You can order an electric bike from walmart.com, and it’s under $500. I think it’s called the izip, or the ezip. But their cheap. completely cheap. cheap bikes with cheap components.
You can get a pretty good kit for your beach cruiser.
