@fork1964 dude you need to go to a bikeshop and get fitted with a real bike for your size! Way too small!
@fork1964 oh okay..that is good to hear.
I’m 6′3″ 230 lbs, I have the same bike for casual riding, I have not had any trouble with mine.
@drunkability sorry to hear about the bad experience. I’m glad you were able to take it back and get a better bike.
I had one of these but it didn’t handle very well. Just picked up a Huffy from wal mart for $150.00 two weeks ago and have been loving it!
@GlockNinja it’s fine, it sucks when it happens, especially when you’re trying to not fuck up, that’s when it happens. xD
@rachet529 No. I thought that too but there is usually enough on the rack for you to take the one already made. But if there is none already made, they will put it together for you.
@eatmyskitle yeah, I agree. I did it without a script and it was all done on the fly without any planning. Thanks for the advice. I get irritated too watching myself sometimes. Will work on it.
when you get a bike from walmart,do you have to set it up by your self?
uhh, uhhh, uhhh, uh, umhm, dude, you need to practice speaking
@GlockNinja its just safer for yourself friend
@frozenskipper LOL, okay okay…I’ll strap it next time. heh heh
I bought this bike a week ago and used it 4 or 5 times in the city. I probably rode it for about 40 miles and so far so good! I’m a short woman (5′1″) and it felt perfect for me. Mine’s the girl’s version.. I love it! I took it on trails at the park and off and on busted sidewalks, and yes, it feels nice to ride. Coincidentally I did replace the seat with the one on the video but hated it. I used the seat from my old cruiser instead and it feels great now. Definitely a great buy!
that helmet won’t help alot if it falls off, just sayin’
@GlockNinja I have to agree with you. I ride almost every day but if you are not then you donĀ“t need a expecive bike at all……
@aponcapone I can see why buying “better stuff” is important if you are going to use something everyday or you depend on it to perform well. But for occasional use where you don’t get a lot of use of it, then I don’t see why one has to spend so much money on it. I for one go riding maybe once a month, and never ride it in the winter time. For kids and occasional riding, I’d say its okay. But you are right, for daily use, I’d buy better quality.
come on people….a Wallmart mtb? Please buy better stuff!!!!
shut the – up! giant makes some of the highest quality bikes ever!
@corv989 Yes, the seats that come with the bike is very hard and small. Not very comfortable. Good luck.
I got mine just a few days ago. I replaced the tires, put slicks on em. Rides more faster on the road now and it has that feel like a higher priced bike. So far I like it and will be keeping it for a long time as long as I keep up on the maintenance. Even the seat has been changed no doubt.
@gurielzeigerman I owned a Giant and the one I had was about $290 and it was okay but this $74 was close to the feel and ride.
@DDrexler86 You are right. I actually bought an after market seat. And you are right about the grips on the handle bar. They are very uncomfortable. I will be looking to replace them soon.
I bought this bike yesterday, this bike ride 75% better then my $400 trek, the grips and the seat suck, but for the price you cant go wrong.

@anticristony sorry to hear that. You return it.
