I have an electric bike running on 12volt 10 batteries can I change to 36 volt? if so, how?. C?

This electric bike is the ezip trailz. It has two battery packs and each of them contain 2 12volt sla batteries. Can I put a bigger battery in there?

    bad idea.
    the motor was designed to run on 24 volts max.
    36 will damage it, and risk over drawing the current from the batteries.
    so if you’re intending to use it for a while, i’d leave it alone.

    The motor could probably handle it for a little while. It is rated at 24 v, but if you over push it it might be okay. worst you could do is fry the motor.
