Would appreciate comments from anyone who has owned the Omegastores Electric CozyBike Bicycle. Their web site does not provide adequate specs. I am having difficulty communicating with the company, so thought someone who has used the bike might want to comment. I am 6′2”. Will I feel cramped using pedal power? Any problem getting replacement parts? Battery power enough for a three mile commute? Anything else would also be appreciated.
I read the ad and was hoping to see something I could recommend.
For 6 years I have been working on ebikes, seen some real good models, seen some really sad stories.
This I can tell unfortunately has the odds of being a sad storie.
There are some important issues left un- answered or covered wrong in the add.
AND I can tell you that any seller that wont talk to you before getting your money, certainly is no better to talk to AFTER they have your dollars.
For an ebike to be efficient, it first has to be an efficient bicycle- that means multi geared and fits you well. Neither is the case with this bike.
for not much more money, checkout the 250w Bionx on a bike that fits you, or a Izip or a crystalyte.
Look for long term parts availability.and service.
