dude depending on how old you are. naturally the younger you are the higher your insurance premium. me on the other hand my monthly payment on my 2008 r1 is $14.

  5. percenter says:

I agree completely. Sport bikes are amazing pieces of machinery we can afford to own and have the pleasure to enjoy. However, there is no required “Dumb Ass” test before buying a sportbike and there is no denying that sport bikes are involved in more accidents. So, It’s safe to say the odds are against us.

  6. disappears says:

Hey genius, insurance is high on sport bikes because dumbasses think they can do what they want on them. Sport bikes are safer because these bikes can do almost anything.

  7. Baseliner says:

This guy rides his bike down to the blue oyster bar.

    Dick chaser

  8. ChocolatePoop1301 says:

Insurance only proves what the dumb asses on the bikes do.

  9. Gracefulize says:

He talks about a cruiser but he aint never rode on a m109r.Handles and brakes and powerful like a sport bike even better.

  10. brandonm1392 says:

the reason the insurance is so high because they go really fast and theres always the dumb ass whos going 110 mph doing a wheelie on the free way

  11. percenter says:

sport bikes are soo safe , yeah ok that explains the price of insurance right.

I’ve been cruising for 30 years and got hooked on sportbike peformance 3 years ago when I tested and bought a Hayabusa. I enjoy riding again. I doubt I’ll ever go back. I sold my GoldWing this spring.

how does he feel about tricicles

  19. rockon4ever182 says:

It was a comparison. A Sport bike is built for performance, just as a Ferrari is built for performance.

  20. xninjazx6r says:

a sport bike is a ferrari? wtf!?!?

  21. sioplar says:

and a tourer is also a bike, isnt it?
but sure, its not a SUPERsport bike ;)

  22. 1MrTurd says:

the yamaha thunderace is not a sports bike, its a sports tourer

  23. Mooser42001 says:

Look, I tried! We have a great HELOC-Davidson dealer here, and they almost “make” you test ride bikes. I wouldn’t be caught dead on one of those things. I do have a weakness for Road Kings.

  24. Mooser42001 says:

The less you can shift your weight, the more the bike has to lean in any given turn, and the more sideways force there is on the tires. That’s why racers “hang off”, that’s why dirt bike riders are able to negotiate low traction surfaces (dirt, gravel or sand) Okay, now add the inability shift your weight, with low ground clearance. It adds up to trouble. You can get along with a cruiser, but why on earth would you ride a “crippled” bike? to “tip-toe” around?

  25. Mooser42001 says:

And if you want some real fun, have your foot, extended out in front of you, fall off the board and hit the road with your leg extended. Ouch!
I don’t need a super sport bike, but I sure don’t need to make a left hand turn in the city with cars right up my butt cause they can make the turn faster than me. They are simply inferior bikes, you can raise the grips on a sport bike, or change the seat, but there is nothing you can do to overcome the basic design defeciencies of a cruiser. Fact.
