Sportbikes, Cruisers, First Bike – Motorcycles
Trying to talk about Sport bikes VS Cruisers, but for the 2nd video in a row fail to keep on topic. But I do talk about mainly motorcycles in this vid. Just not the pros and cons of two types like I wanted.
You’re thinking about an Enduro bike!
@BLACKm3e30
i was bout to ask that too
M13 what was your 2nd bike?
@Burningdemon23 moredeth13 has ridden that bike a few times and talks about it. search his stuff;)
Would you recommend a 2008-2011 kawasaki ninja 250r for a brand new rider?
100% right,m8.
i got my sv650.k3for the road. droped it a few times. iv got a zx6r G1/G2, for the track

i took a corner a little too fast and with to much lean some years ago… so i ended in a tree with broken leg in 100kph:/ i lead over the rubber on the tire so i lose grip.. this was with R-type tire… so then i buy ZR tire which is more rounder so you can lean more
good to check your tires also before you take some risky high speed corners
I hadn’t fallen off for about 8 months, so I thought it was time to get something more reliable than my 1988 CBR250R. It just so happened that they had just released the new CBR250RA, so I went and got it. (I decided to stick to a 250 because they’re cheap to buy, and cheap to run, and I was on a serious budget) The day I got it, it started raining, and with new tyres on wet roads, I dropped the damn thing…decided to leave it scratched up, makes it feel like its mine. Unique
I hear ya on learning to corner. You once mentioned Twist of the Wrist II in one of your videos, so I checked out the book and the DVD. After finishing them, I just went out on twisty back-roads and tried taking corners faster than I was comfortable with. It was a little scary at first, but once I did it, it was the best feeling in the world.

@13mordeth doesn’t the track have a phone number so you can call and ask if its open or so?
I think the beemer you were talking about is the GS Model. They look a bit like a bird
@SKStylez No, it held the road better. I always felt like I was fighting the R6. Im not sure if it was the wider rear tire or the suspension/frame design on the R1 that made it feel lighter, aswell as drive a line that made it feel like it was on a rail, but I’m not mistaken. Almost every year models change atleast alittle. Your experience might be different, but overall I think anyone can learn how to ride the bike they want if they can show some restraint.
@newchips
Mordeth misleads us with his titles, but what I’d really like to see is him misleading us with his titties
Can you film a video of you at the race track?
True!
Good lesson M13! (+)
@IanHimself28 held the road way better? Sure after you had experience on a lower bike. r6 already is one hell of a bike to start with, starting on a thousand you would need to be brainless
as a first bike, i’d recommend a honda cb400, it’s got enough power to keep you entertained and the likelihood of you pulling a power wheelie by accident is next to nil. if you live in asia, these are nearly ubiquitous, in canada/usa, not so common.
to get better at cornering start cornering at really slow speeds
it is well known that how you maneuver your bike at low speeds its the same in high speed
doing figure 8 its a fantastic excercise
Wow I too wud love to ride my bike on that road. We would like to invite this video for the Bodypost 2011 Sponsorship Program where you can win Bodypost sponsored goodies worth $5000 and more cash prizes. Write to us clay.joule@bodypost.com along with your videos to enter our BODYPOST 2011 Sponsorship recruitment.
Sorry to say M13, sometimes you talk utter shit!
my ninja 650 did hit 240km/hr no problem and honestly…..where will you ever use the speed of a 1000cc bike. I hit a deer with my bike this friday im not a happy camper.
i have loads of fun doing 80mph max on my friends bike at the weekend fun enough to learn on
Bikes get rid of stress until the electrics fri and cost a lot of money to replace which is what happened on my zx
To take a corner you dont know, at the highest speed….1 simple rule….lose the speed before you hit the bend, then twist the wrist on the out.
