What are your thoughts on an electric bike vs. an electric wheel conversion?

I live about 2 miles from work, and have a bike path directly to the office. I want to get an electric bike or convert my beach cruiser to an electric bike. Thoughts on this? Suggestions?

    Only two miles I would just ride my bike. Get a hybrid bike and enjoy the ride.

    2 miles
    ANY bike would work
    it;s 12 minutes max
    do not bother with any conversion
    that is my thought
    a bike is less work than walking
    now you want to make it even less still?
