Ive always liked GTs which are the least expensive and Specialized which are about midrange
Hi Pedro.
A lot will depend on your budget for the bike.
However, some of some reliable brands are, in no special order: Specialized, Trek, Cannondale, Trek, GT, Giant, Marin.
it depends on your style you should get a full suspension if you like to go to trails brandsare get haro specialized of down hill get a santa cruz
It depends a lot more on the parts than on the frame. Just make sure you dont get a huffy or a raleigh, nothing from wal mart.

Norco
Kona
Banshee
Devinci
Giant
You shouldn’t have any problems with thoose brands.
I’ve ridden Specialized and Kona’s, they’re great bikes:

Those are great starter mountain bikes, good for any sort of beginner or intermediate trails, can be used on more advanced trails if you’re careful. My first one was a Specialized Hardrock comp like 7-8 years ago. I took it on some really rough trails(one was a double-black diamond downhill trail at keystone, lol, and never had anything break on it. I ride a Kona now and it’s solid too, had it like 6 years and nothing’s ever broken on it. I pull out my old Specialized bike from time to time and it’s still working great. So I recommend either Kona or Specialized bikes.
